Altek Leo, camera phone or a phone in camera?
Taiwanese camera maker Altek, has just launched the Android-based camera phones. Altek Leo packed with Android 2.1 with 14 megapixel camera that offers capabilities such as a standalone regular digital camera.
Altek Leo equipped with 3x optical zoom support. In addition there are Altek Leo Xenon Flash Light for illuminating dark objects. Altek Leo also brought 1/2.3 inch CCD image sensor as found in the regular standalone camera. In short, Altek Leo is a phone with a better camera, or perhaps could be called a camera that is equipped with mobile phones, yay! Although there is no official specifications from Altek, the Altek Leo will run Android 2.1 and equipped with 3.2-inch WVGA screen, WiFi connectivity and support for 3.5G access. Altek Leo reportedly will start in sale in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan in the fourth quarter of this year with a $ 499 price tag. Watch the video below for a closer look.
