Samsung ChatON, the cross-messaging platform is already available on Samsung’s bada and Android OS and will support other platforms like BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and now available for iOS and ready for download from iTunes App Store.
ChatON allows users to have a 1:1 conversation, group chat, group messaging, share multimedia content and even animated messages. Available to download for free at iTunes App Store.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has launched at South Korea, Samsunghas teamed up with 10 CORSE COMO Case to make a special case fot the latest Samsung's Galaxy Tab lines. Dubbed as 10 CORSE COMO Galaxy Tab Case, the accessory is designed by Kris Ruhs and comes in a floral and polka dot design that can also be folded to double up as a tablet stand. Samsung Seeking Mobile Leadership Through Innovative and Diverse Lineup
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a leading mobile handset provider, today announced that it has this year achieved annual mobile handset sales of 300 million units for the first time in Samsung’s history.
Finnaly, the Indonesian user can bought Samsung Galaxy S II the next generation of Samsung Galaxy S line. Unfortunately, there is no information about price untill we discover this news.
As a reminder, Samsung Galaxy S II has a higher specification than the Galaxy's predecessor, using Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating systems, with 4.3 inches Super AMOLED plus display and support 1GB RAM and powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor. Besides that features there is a 8 megapixel camera, ability to access WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS so you can using this phones as a Personal Navigation Devices (PND) for your trip.
Samsung it seems has another product for their own market, The SHW-A175S is a Samsung mobile phone that only will be available for Korean market.
The phone sports with 3.2-inch WQVGA (240 × 400 pixels) touchscreen AMOLED display, 3G and WiFi connectivity, 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth, T-DMB mobile TV receiver, a 3.5mm headset jack and microSD slot that works with a memory card up to 16GB. Interestingly enough, this is a device that has NFC capability, allowing for payment by mobile phone device, although we were a little doubtful it would work outside South Korea. In addition, there is a service called "standard to Korea" was a T-DMB broadcast receivers so users can enjoy TV programs while traveling. Samsung apparently is preparing a low-end mobile devices to be presented at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 at Barcelona in February 13th. And we got some leaked information about that phones are Samsung Galaxy Ace (we've previously covered which appear in Samsung Indonesia website), Fit, Mini and Gio.
This phone using Android 2.2 Froyo OS and will come with standard features like Wi-Fi, Android Apps, Samsung Apps support, Social Hub, Swype text input, GPS and more. But these phones have different specification.
The pictures of Samsung Galaxy S Mini has appeared on the Internet, this phone has not officially announced by Samsung. According to Mobile Magazine, this device will have a 3.5 inch screen with Super AMOLED technology and instead use the screen size of 4 inches as previously touted.
These devices will likely have a smaller size than the Palm Pre 2 and its shape is not the same with the iPhone. This phone will be equipped with the Android 2.2 (Froyo), a 5MP camera, Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, and support for WCDMA network. Not only Apple is preparing a newer version of iPhone device, but now Samsung will produce a newer version of Samsung Galaxy S as we known as Galaxy S2. Not only for smartphones line, Samsung also will upgrade the Galaxy Tab in the near future.
By setting up a Samsung product Galaxy Galaxy S 2 and Tab 2, it looks like Samsung really wanted to compete with Apple in the mobile device and tablet device, recently Samsung also preparing Galaxy Play that will compete with Apple's iPod Touch. Samsung will announce the existence of this at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) which will be held in Las Vegas, USA on January 6th to 9th 2011.
