Research In Motion (RIM) it seems will make a new version of the Playbook tablet device which has a 10-inch screen sizes. This rumor spread through several sources that say that this device will also be released in the holiday season this year.
The device is currently referred as Playbook 2 also will have a key differentiating factor here...the screen size. Most likely this device will come with 4G connectivity capabilities as well as using the BlackBerry OS 7. News about the existence of Playbook 2 is still not been confirmed yet, but we have another information about the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900/9930 was recently announced is also rumored to be delayed until mid-August, as we previously said that the launch of Bold Touch 9900/9930 will be held in June / July but it seems this may be postponed due to unclear reason. If you follow the news about the development of BlackBerry, OS you probably know that currently RIM preparing BlackBerry OS 6.1 that will be presented at the upcoming BlackBerry smartphones.
BlackBerry OS 6.1 is an improvement to the earlier BlackBerry OS 6 where the BlackBerry OS 6.1 has some new features such as NFC, magnetometer, liquid graphics and other features that were previously displayed at DefCon Asia held in Bali last year. Recently proclaimed that RIM would leave OS 6.1 and now directly jump by presenting the BlackBerry OS 7, while the OS is not going to involve elements of QNX altogether. Looks like the BlackBerry OS 7 will be more interesting and perhaps we will see that there will be many changes for hardware. It seems this OS will debut in September 2011.
