We know Google Goggles for Android is a very "promising" app, it allows us to capture a logo then Goggles will use Google search engine to find some related items on the web, and it also works on landmarks too. Google believes that by using Goggles, it will gives people more choice to search for some stuffs via web. Even though the app still need some improvement (eg. a better image recognition), Google seems ready to take Goggles into a higher level. At MWC, Google showed us the next version of Google Goggles and it will involves Google Translate.
With optical character recognition (OCR), the next version of Google Goggles will scan the text that we have captured, and then allows us to select those text before translate them into the desired language. Here's a demo of how Google Goggles translates a German menu into English.

Samsung claims the new smartphone as brighter, faster, and more fun than ever. The launching is for invited guests only as stated in Samsung Unpacked site.
Can it be the first new Bada-powered smartphone? At least the ocean theme is supporting this argument. We'll update you for more information.
What's a Super AMOLED? Super AMOLED is basically the same display that has an integrated touch sensor. The display panel it self is said to be five times "clearer" and offer around 20% better sunlight legibility than the regular AMOLED display. There isn't much info about the screen size or which Samsung's phone that will use this display, but there has been a rumor, that the screen size will probably around 3.3" with WVGA (800x480) resolution, and of course we could also expect this new display to be equipped on Samsung's first BADA phone.
Mobile World Congress 2010 is approaching, means we are excitedly going to update you with tons of new information. Before the official event begins, here's something that shouldn't be missed. Beside LTE demo, there's also several agendas held by DOCOMO in its booth, including eco-friendly TOUCH WOOD handset made with real wood. Check this page out for more. Boy, I wish I can enjoy the luxury owned exclusively by Japanese.
