Nokia N900 most likely be available in Southeast Asia region this March

While Nokia N900 has already available since November 2009 in selected European countries, countries in Asia haven't enjoy such luxury. It was stated previously that N900 will not come to Asia or as being evaluated, and seems like the question has been already answered now.

Take a look at this landing page in Nokia Malaysia site and information retrieved from @gadtorade. Those two confirm about availability of Nokia N900 in Southeast Asia region, in particular, in near future. The latter even states that it will be available in Indonesia in mid of March.

While we haven't had further information about pricing list, it is said that N900 is the best Nokia smartphone so far. Sporting Maemo 5 operating system, Nokia brings native Linux based system into its handset, just like Google develops its Android. Some examples reveal that Nokia N900 loads Google Wave and Google Earth perfectly, enough reasons to back earlier statement.

Nokia N900 can also run Windows OS

Even though the Nokia N900 dual-booting Maemo 5 and Android are still on an experimental stage (means not fully functional yet), we gotta admit, its awesome and I think, we could expect big things from this device. So now, how about some other OS? Yep thats right, the N900 can also run the Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95 and damn! it can even run Windows 98! But, as I said before, its still very experimental (concept if I must say), not really usable.

Here are some videos the N900 running those OS's

Windows NT 4.0

Windows 3.11

Windows 95

Nokia N900 dual-booting Android and Maemo 5

As we already know, the Nokia N900 probably the most exciting handset that Nokia owns. Why? the answer is great piece of hardware combined with Maemo 5 OS. While we already know the capability of the platform and the device could do, such as, running 10 apps simultaneously, or playing Starcraft. But what could we get if we had the Nokia N900, Maemo 5 and... Android? The answer is, a dual booting Maemo 5 and Android on Nokia N900!

Brandon Roberts, the dude who's responsible of making this possible said, the trick for the dual-boot is we configure the Maemo on internal storage and Android on a separate partition loaded from microSD card. While the hack is still "experimental" and we still don't have any guide or steps on how to do it, but this is surely an exciting news for all hackers out there, who wants to "play" with two most exciting open platform on a same device.
