Information on how to break into GSM networks leaked on the Net

As we all know that GSM (The abbreviation stands for Global System for Mobile communication.)  is a type of wireless connection that has a better encryption than previous cellular network, but recently one expert named Karsten Nohl, 28, aided by 24 fellow hackers based in Berlin, have been able  to uncover an algorithm that is used for encryption GSM networks for last twenty years.

Encryption scheme  used 64-bit encryption for 80% GSM phone networks around the world. Book Code dealing with the algorithm has been published by Nohl and is now available on the Internet via BitTorrent.

This is not the first time the GSM system has been cracked. In 2003, a method for breaking the GSM encryption code has also been founded by a team of researchers in Israel and in 2008, David Hulton and Steve Muller has revealed weaknesses in the GSM system only the Black Hat with less than half an hour.

And now in 2009, we have a binary code that has the potential to make the log GSM decryption faster and easier than before. Before all the panic, it is important to show that the algorithms that crack the GSM algorithms are older and less secure because it uses a system of 64-bit A5 / 1 algorithm, while the new use traditional 128-bit encryption algorithm A5 / 3 algorithm. Unfortunately, the GSM operators slow to adopt new technologies such algorithm.
