Twitter for BlackBerry out of beta and heading into full version

RIM seems to be leaving the Beta version of Twitter for BlackBerry and will release a full version of that Twitter clients to v1.0.0.45. Twitter for BlackBerry will also feature the ability to access any user’s profile from anywhere in the application using auto-complete functionality for followers. The application also will have the support of several language such as: France, Italy, Spain, Germany, EU and Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Indonesian and much more.

RIM says that the application of beta testers has helped many additional features of the application form during the test period. They "offer exceptional feedback and clearly establish the evolution of this application,"

Some of the features added in the beta program include the ability to edit, retweets, preview images, geodata function, autocompletion for user name and reporting spam. Full launch of Twitter application for BlackBerry was start last night; we can find them on BlackBerry App World under social network category.

Begin from 2011 all new Nokia smartphones will come with NFC

All Nokia phone which was launched in 2011 will be equipped with NFC technology. This was stated by Anssi Vanjoki, Executive VP of Nokia on his presentation in Helsinki.

NFC (Near Field Communications) is a close-range wireless communications technology that enables the exchange of data between devices within a distance of about 10 cm. Using NFC technology, users can perform transactions in small amounts (micropayment) by phone close to a data reader. In addition to financial transactions, mobile phones with NFC technology could be used as transport tickets, posters and readers smart house key.

This is not the first time Nokia NFC offensive presence on the cell phone. Previously, Nokia has announced the Nokia 6216 Classic with NFC support. But Nokia and then cancel its plan to produce the Nokia 6216. Cancellation due to absence of this seems to be the meeting point of the installation of the application to the transaction. Nokia wants the application for NFC mobile phone installed in the transaction while the operators want the applications planted on the SIM Card.

After releasing the iPhone and Blackberry app for quite some time, WordPress finally released their official app for Android platform. With Wordpress for Android, you can configure and manage multiple blogs, reply to comments, create & edit posts including categories, tags and photos, create & edit pages and of course get notified of new comments in the Android notification bar.

Firefox for Nokia's Maemo 5 platform becomes official

Following the release of the RC1 version of Firefox for mobile device, two days ago, Mozilla's finally announce that Firefox is now available for Nokia's Maemo platform.

Someone at XDA-Developers forum, yozgatg has successfully made an application that enables Windows Mobile device users to install two operating system that is Android and Windows Mobile in a single device.

Getfugu is now available for BlackBerry device

Getfugu is a tool to conduct searches by speaking of what we want to look for, therefore this application has a jargon of "See It, Say It, Get It". Initially, this application is only available for Android and iPhone devices but now available for BlackBerry devices.

The app lets you take a picture of a brand, whether it be a sign or logo, and then finds specials, deals and information about that brand. You can also use voice to communicate the brand. Just say the name of the product, company or an associated keyword, and GetFugu will find information about it. There are also GPS features such as being able to get deals and information for products in your vicinity.
