Official WordPress app for Android is coming? [Rumor]
So after creating apps for both the iPhone and Blackberry, WordPress looks like going to launch their app for Android platform. WordPress has created a special blog using subdomain Android.wordpress.org, which they have done something similar with the iPhone and Blackberry, and based on that fact my friend, could be a hint that there's a future app coming upon Google's mobile platform :)
We still don't know when the app will be released or what are the features that will be available on the Android platform, but some source said that the app will be available along with the launch of the Nexus One (which is probably on January 5th).
If you can't wait for the official WordPress app for Android, you could checkout wpToGo on Android Market. wpToGo is a WordPress 3rd party application for Android, you can create a new post, edit a post and even set a notification if there's a new comment on your blog. But I'm pretty sure that the official WordPress app for Android will do a lot better than the 3rd party app, a video support would be nice don't you think? (the Blackberry version has it!)
