Indonesia's Indosat will bring tons of Android handsets, including Sony Ericsson X10!

Maybe 2010 will be a blessed year to Indonesian's gadget fans. Today, iPhone 3GS is publicly offered by contry's largest, Telkomsel. Next Monday, country's 2nd largest, Indosat, will strike back with its Android lineups. How many product will be introduced by Indosat? Not one or two, but six phone makers will join in!

According to the explanation from Indosat officials on radio, Indosat will team up with Samsung, LG, Huawei, HTC, and Motorola. No phone is disclosed here but they promise to bundle these with unlimited data plan. By the end of today, the @isatdroid account confirms that an Android handset that has 4 inch display and 8.1 megapixel camera will be in the list too, and it's none other than Sony Ericsson Xperia X10!

While the brief news will be brought on Monday, the official sales will be begun at Computer Expo on the first week of March, not only in Jakarta, but also in several big cities in Indonesia. It's said that XL -- country's 3rd largest -- will join the carriage to offer Android packages too.

Previously Telkomsel once offered HTC Magic with OHD scheme and it was not working well. May better luck for Team Android this time. Welcome back Android and let the smartphone war begins!
