Axis ready to launch BlackBerry Onyx in Indonesia
Axis, one of the cellular operators in Indonesia, which has recently launched Blackberry services for Indonesian market, immediately launch BlackBerry Bold 9700 aka Onyx in Indonesia. Companies held by Natrindo Telepon Seluler became the second operator in Indonesia to launch BlackBerry 9700 Onyx after the XL Axiata as the first operator who launched BlackBerry Onyx in Indonesia.
Not mentioned how many units are supplied by the Axis. However, these operators are optimistic this new product bundling will market interest rates thanks to the program and the package "Worry Free" offer. In addition to XL and Axis, BlackBerry Onyx soon also be released by Indosat and Telkomsel. Chief Marketing Officer of Indosat, Guntur Siboro, said "The launch BlackBerry Onyx by Indosat will be launched by the end of this January,". [via]
