Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 headed to market in the third quarter of this year.

Xperia X8, Android mobile phone from Sony Ericsson finally appeared on the FCC. Numerous pictures and user manual of this phone has been shown by the FCC.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 or previously nammed with a Sony Ericsson Shakira was first introduced in last June. Sony Ericsson plans to begin selling the Android phone is in the third quarter of this year.

Pics of Nokia N9 leaked!

Nokia N9 prototype with Meego OS reportedly emerged in China. This pictures ensures that the Nokia N9 run Meego, not run Symbian S60 like never leaked berfore by negrielectronics. As seen from the pictures, Nokia N9 comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and this prototype appears to use aluminum construction and look like Apple MacBook Pro laptop.

A source of Engadget to make sure that the phone is an original prototype of Nokia. And from Google searching we also find the information tgat showed a prototype of N9 were related to Maemo 6 which we know has turned into Meego.

Leaked photo of Nokia C7

Previously, we have reviewed about the Nokia C7 that had leaked in one of Hong Kong magazine and this time we returned to find more detailed pictures of the device known as Nokia C7.

This phone is certainly going to use Symbian^3 platform. With the following specifications: 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen display, Micro USB port, Nokia 2mm charging port, 1200 mAh battery. In addition Nokia C7 equipped with 8 Mpix camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. And as we see from the pictures, the camera does not appear to carry Carl Zeiss lens.

Menlo, the new Mobile OS platform from Microsoft

Mary Jo Folye from ZDNet recently reported the results of investigations into the 'Menlo', a mysterious project being worked by Microsoft. Through this project the researchers reportedly about  Menlo Microsoft was reviewing the possibility of new Mobile OS platforms.

A PDF document related Menlo project has also been published by Microsoft Research. From these documents revealed that Menlo is a prototype mobile device with 1.4-inch capacitive touch screen, runs Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2 and equipped with an accelerometer and barometer.

It also called named Greenfield applications that run on top of Menlo platform. Through this application, Menlo expected to detect a 'path' user activity. This is why the document titled 'User Activity-Based Experiences With Latest Mobile Navigation Device'.

HTC prepare Android phone World Edition

HTC seems preparing a new World Edition Android phone with leaks spread out across the Internet. This phone is rumored to have a 1.2 GHz processor and will be offered by Verizon starting next year. According to AndroidGuys, this HTC Android phone has same form factor size as the HTC EVO, but with smaller screen.

Known specs include 4 inch screen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and to be powered with (at least) OS 2.2. The phone is indicated to be available for both GSM and CDMA networks around the world.

Mysterious BlackBerry 8600 leaked photo

A mysterious pics leaked from BerryCN website, that pic shows a screen of the BlackBerry 8600 model, the photo shows only the screen that display BlackBerry operating system version 5.0 with platform 6.0.0.45.

Unfortunately, we still do not know for sure if this is a new device from RIM, because we have not heard of the BlackBerry 8600 model so far. But according to one of source from CrackBerry site, that the 8600 device is a device that similar to the BlackBerry 9300.

Nokia C7 device leaked on Hong Kong Magazine

We were just getting interesting photos that leaked on the Internet today through one of the technology magazine in Hong Kong, where the appearance of the Nokia C7 has been revealed. Besides having Symbian^3 platform, Nokia C7 also has several features such as:

  • Symbian^3 OS
  • 8 Megapixel camera with Autofocus, Dual LED Flash and HD Ready (720p) Video Recording
  • Micro-USB, 3.5mm Jack
  • Multitouch capability
  • Multimedia player
  • 3.3-inch capacitive screen with resolution 640 * 360 pixel
Unfortunately, we don't have another spesific info about this device, so.. let's wait and see.

Rumored: Samsung Galaxy Q, packs with Froyo and QWERTY keyboard

Samsung seems preparing the next Android phones, after introducing Samsung Epic 4G / Galaxy S Pro (another Galaxy S with slider QWERTY keyboard) and now Galaxy Q.

According to Samsung's specs leak, Galaxy Q will sports with 3 inch Super AMOLED display (720 x 480 pixel). This screen is smaller than Samsung Galaxy S I think, 8 megapixel camera + LED flash and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. This phone will run Android 2.2 Froyo powered by 1Ghz Hummingbird processor.

Judging by the dimensions 120 mm x 68 mm x 9,25 mm, Galaxy Q seems to be a cell phone with the candy bar form factor and a QWERTY keyboard below. Some people on the AndroidForums says this phones will become a BlackBerry rival. Unfortunately until now there is no image yet for the Galaxy Q device.

Dell Streak coming soon in Indonesia

Dell Streak, tablet Android phone rumored to be present in Indonesia soon. This product powered with Android 2.0, packs 3G and WiFi with a super-wide screen for cell phone size, and reached 5 inches screen.

Indonesia has a lot of users who require devices with full mobility features, Dell plans to bring Streak in Indonesia. "Strike became available (in Indonesia) in 1 to 2 months ahead," said Willy Hendrajudo, Marketing Manager for Dell's Consumer Business Indonesia. Unfortunately, he did not want to specify the launching date and price range of this devices for now.

What we know about Dell Streak is that there's an 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display (with multitouch zooming), WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G WWAN connectivity, all riding atop an Android 2.0. A dual-LED flash 5 megapixel camera adorns the back, and there's a 1,300mAh battery to power all that goodness.
